Adult Learner Scholarship

The SAEOPP Pre-College Scholarship and Adult Learner Scholarship Applications are now available online for submission.

 

Please go to the SAEOPP website at www.saeopp.org and click on the Scholarship link.  There is an online form for the Pre-College Application as well as the Adult Learner Application, so be sure to click on the appropriate link.

 

Remember, only one scholarship application may be submitted for each TRIO program.  If your program has more than one participant interested in applying for a SAEOPP Scholarship, your program will need to narrow the selection to one individual application to be submitted.

 

Tips For Online Submission:

 

·         Please read carefully to the direction page of the online application BEFORE you begin completing the application. 

 

·         To assist in the completion of the online application, a sample application is provided online for your convenience.

 

·         Please mail transcripts as directed.

 

·         The sponsor may want to enter the application and recommendations or may want to work with the applicant as he/she enters the information to ensure a complete application is submitted.   

 

·         The online scholarship application is comprised of six sections for the Pre-College application. There are five sections for the Adult Learner application. Both scholarship applications must include the online recommendation form.  Please make sure that you complete information for all sections BEFORE you click the SUBMIT button.  Once the SUBMIT button has been clicked the ENTIRE application will be sent for review by the Scholarship Committee.  Again, please do not submit the application until all sections are complete.  In the event of duplicate applications the last submission will be reviewed. 

 

·         Recommendation letters should be entered separately.  Remember, there must be two! One recommendation letter must be from the SAEOPP Sponsor.

 

·         You will receive an email confirmation of your scholarship application submission within 24 hours.  If you do not receive a confirmation, please follow up by contacting Hope Cranford, (912) 356-2196 or scholarship@saeopp.org

 

 

All applications must be submitted online by the October 31, 2008 deadline.
